Dispatch from the Sunroom is a newsletter about what I’m learning in library school, peppered with reflections on rare books, fandom, and bookselling, because that’s what I spend my time thinking about. It's called Dispatch from the Sunroom, because that's where I spend all of my waking hours in my parents' house, where I currently live, because we're in the middle of a pandemonium.
Hopefully the newsletter will be funny, because librarians have a great sense of humor, but ideally it will give you a sense of what I'm learning, because I'm asked all the time what I'm learning and I never, ever have a succinct answer. So now I can rattle on about it in a newsletter and you can choose whether or not to read the whole thing. Ideally, you will read the whole thing, and then we can have in-depth discussions about bibliographic bias and linked metadata and phenakistiscopes. There’s a lot to talk about!
